Unfortunately, the girls in the family suffer from headaches and migraines, just like so many people today. We do not always like relying on Advil and Tylenol to relieve our pain, so we often go without any medication at all (which is not fun) or are sometimes desperate enough to take the medication! After doing more research on the benefits of rosemary, we found an amazing rosemary tea recipe that works on our headaches! We hope that this simple tea recipe helps all of you that suffer with headaches (we know there’s a lot!)
Have a headache? Switch aspirin for some delicious and soothing Rosemary tea:
Instructions:
1. Place 3-5 sprigs of dried rosemary in a spice grinder or chop finely and grind to a powder (a mortar & pestle works the best).
2. In a mug, combine 1 tablespoon of powdered rosemary with 1 cup of boiling water, whisk, cover and steep for 30 minutes. Strain using a fine stainless steel strainer or a fine-mesh sieve.
The great thing about this tea as opposed to Advil, is that you can drink as much as you need until your headache feels better. Drink a cup every 2-3 hours as needed. Even if you do not suffer from headaches, this recipe is a healthy tea recipe for get-togethers with friends & family.
