As a huge fan of Centro’s home décor and furniture, I was eager to get down to their farmer’s market that opened up for this summer. I finally visited Centro last weekend, and was hugely impressed with what I saw. From patio furniture to herbs, Centro had it all. It is Centro’s third year doing the farmer’s market, and I think that every resident of Burlington and the surrounding area will agree with me when I say that I am glad they started it up!
I visited Centro on a Sunday afternoon, just as it was getting busier. Of course, I started off by checking out Centro’s new home décor, and wanted to buy everything in the store (as always). I then entered the coutyard through the side door in the shop, and with permission, started taking photos of my favourite plants and patio furniture.
Centro’s variety of flowers and plants sparked excitement when we entered, and I was able to ignore all of the bees trying to get their share of the flowers (despite my fear). When I spotted the herbs, I started looking for rosemary and basil to try out some new recipes, and succeeding in finding them! I got inspired for some ways to plant the herbs in grandma’s garden, and started trying out the comfy chairs for my future backyard.
What was especially inspiring was seeing all of the bright flowers just waiting for a home in the garden. I love gardens that have a variety of colours, and anyone who is the same should check out Centro’s courtyard to pick out some unique colours for their garden.
I highly recommend Centro’s courtyard for anyone who is looking for a small, inexpensive and friendly garden center – I will most definitely be returning!
