“Lyck” Bodybutter Review

When my favourite body butter shop closed down, I immediately began my search for a new body butter that I loved. After searching for a couple of weeks, I was able to find a body butter that was even better than my previous favourite!

I purchased two of the “Lyck” natural bodycare bodybutters. After smelling every single one of the bodybutters on display (there were a lot), I finally narrowed it down to two of my favourites: “eve’s garden” and “oh my mandarin”.  The scents of these body butters are absolutely to die for, smelling fresh and fruity. I will definitely be back to try more of the scents.

I highly recommend this product to anybody who is in search of a 100% organic and natural body butter.

Oh My Mandarin: shea butter, fractionated coconut oil, grape seed oil, sunflower seed oil, corn starch, essential oil/flavour blend, vitamin e, and mandarin peel oil.

Eve’s Garden: shea butter, fractionated coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil, ylang-ylang, red mandarin, corn starch, flavour/fragrance oil and vitamin e.

You don’t need a lot of this body butter, it goes a long way – one small scoop on my finger covered both of my arms. The body butter goes on extremely oily on the skin, so massage it with your hand into the area of application. The cream takes about 5-10 minutes to dry completely, so do not panic if your skin looks oily after you’ve applied it – it does absorb quickly.

If you are interested in purchasing this product, I bought mine at Anise’s (Burlington). If you want to support Anise’s online store, please feel free to visit her website at http://www.aniseapothecary.com/
